How to Buy a Horse from Silver Horse Ranch
I appreciate your interest in our horses for sale! We hope to have the opportunity to work with you and assist you in finding the perfect horse or pony for your needs. We receive numerous inquiries about our horses and ponies, as well as many requests to visit and view our available horses for sale.
Appointments to see our horses are limited and are only available to serious potential buyers. Our horses sell quickly. However, if you are very interested in a horse, consider putting down a refundable deposit.
Unfortunately, due to our busy schedule with all the horses, as well as the large number of people who want to come and ride a few horses, we no longer schedule appointments without a 40% refundable deposit on the horse. You are asked to hold. Of course, it can always be transferred to a different horse if you come and fall in love with someone else! It is also refundable in the unlikely event that it isn’t suitable for you when you receive it.
We do not hold horses or turn down a sale to another buyer without a deposit & a signed agreement.
Bank Wire Transfer and Cash are our preferred payments. Zelle and Cash App payments are also allowed.

Payment Terms: Please note that before shipping, clients are required to pay either the full price or a minimum of 50% of the initial price of the horse(s) to be transported. Payment must be received before delivery commences.
We do not accept cashier’s checks or money orders. We accept personal checks, but the horse may not be picked up for two weeks to allow time for the check to clear the bank.
Once you have decided on a horse or pony, we will email a Sale Agreement for your signature and return. We prefer, and most of our customers, send a bank wire for payments. It’s just as easy and secure as a check, but it speeds up the process and allows us to schedule shipping faster, rather than waiting for an out-of-state check to clear.
Before transporting horses off the premises of Silver Horse Ranch in Texas, mandatory insurance coverage must be secured through our ranch. This insurance protects the horses’ lives from any eventuality during transit.
Please note that the insurance fees will be fully refunded upon successful delivery of the horses.
We try to do our very best at matching the horse and rider on the front end, but there are those rare instances where, for whatever reason, things don’t work out. Many times, we can help you work through those issues, but sometimes it necessitates making a change. If you need to make a change within the first 30 days, we will provide a full refund of your payment or find a suitable replacement, depending on your decision.
